In Undercover Boss Season 6 Episode 7, Robert Powells(CoFounder & President) says that the Rocket Fizz logo is an 

old fasioned 1950’s Flash Gordon rocket with the boy being RobertPowells himself.

And that Rocket Fizz specializes on old fashion candy that reminds the customer of their childhood.

 

So with that in mind for this rebranding I didn't want to design something different or modern so I stayed as close as possible to the original logo design but giving it an even more old fashioned 1950’s look since I think that concept fits well with the 

Rocket Fizz franchise.
